'Tensho' red oak handle chisels.

These 'Tensho' (Craftsperson's heaven) chisels are made by Koyama using traditional methods to create a tool that was made to reward whoever uses it.

Made with Yasuki #2 white steel laminated to a specially selected soft iron body to permit easy sharpening and fitted to a Akagashi (Japanese red oak) handle with a hand hammered hoop. The chisels are hand finished and both individual chisels and sets are delivered in a Paulownia presentation box for their own protection. 

Also available with boxwood handles.
