The 'oire-nomi', translated as 'regular chisel' is the standard size and style most woodworkers think of when they think of Japanese chisels.

With their modest size and hooped handles, they are a general purpose chisel suitable for cabinetry, carpentry and general woodworking.

Includes standard 'oire' profile and 'umeki/shinogi' (triangular) profile bladed chisels.
