"Kotobuki Tsunesaburo" -#1 Blue-

"Kotobuki" translates as "Congratulations".

This represents the 'entry level' of the *full featured* Tsunesaburo kanna, featuring a blade of #1 Blue steel laminated to kamaji and a tsutsumi style closed mouth dai. Below this level, the blade will have a soft steel backing and the dai, a futsu-guchi open style mouth.

To realise the difference between the simpler, more economical kanna and higher grade kanna, this is where it all starts.
