Juntaro Mitsukawa saws enjoy a reputation as being saws of very high quality, but reasonably priced and are a common feature in tool shops and craftspersons tool kits. Their attraction is hard to resist.

This particular saw boasts the ability to cut in all directions with efficiency and accuracy.

How does it do this?

The teeth on the saw are not strictly cross cut or rip cut having cross cut teeth interspersed with rip teeth giving benefits of both tooth types and allowing the saw to cross cut rapidly, rip cut without excessive clogging and cut on the diagonal with obvious success.

With heat treated tooth tips and chrome coating, the blade will remain sharp and rust free for a goodly time.

The blade is easily replaced by the screw in the side of the half-wrapped rattan and wood handle.
