Nokogiri-Kobo 'Kireru' cross/rip cut kataba, 270mm.

Nokogiri-Kobo combine the benefits of hand made saws with the advantages of the more modern, machine made alternatives to present saws that cut like a dream, and keep doing so for longer.

This 'Kireru' kataba is designed for rip, cross and diagonal cutting, made possible by the combination of 8 cross cut teeth separated by two, raking rip style teeth so they will cross cut rapidly, rip cut without excessive clogging and of course, diagonal cuts are not a problem.

But don't let the gaudy printing on the blade fool you, this is a serious saw for serious work.

Blade replacement is by friction fit, requiring the handle to be tapped off the blade by a small hammer. Not ideal, but it does yield a very simple method of fixing blade to handle that keeps the weight and profile very low.
