Dai-naoshi-kanna/sole adjusting scraper plane, 36mm.

A special purpose plane for creating the hollows in a kanna sole, and used cross grain to rapidly remove material where it is not needed.

This plane features a flat sole, a 90° bedded blue steel on soft steel blade or optional HSS on soft steel / Blue steel on wrought iron.

36mm blade width (33mm cutting width), 150mm overall length. Supplied without chip breaker (and none is required).
