Dai-naoshi-kanna/sole adjusting scraper plane, 48mm.
Starting at: ¥8,000
A special purpose plane for creating the hollows in a
kanna
sole, and used cross grain to rapidly remove material where it is not needed.
This plane features a flat sole, a 90° bedded blue steel on soft steel blade or optional HSS on soft steel / Blue steel on wrought iron.
48mm blade width (44mm cutting width), 165mm overall length. Supplied without chip breaker (and none is required).
