Hiwa-Kiwa-kanna/short skew rabbet plane, 165/210 x 36mm.

A shorter, more compact version of the kiwa-kanna (skew rabbet plane), a little shorter in length and slightly more forgiving of less than straight or rigid workpieces or when a smaller plane is preferred.

36mm blade width (33mm cutting width). Supplied with chipbreaker and available as standard with a blue steel-on-soft steel blade (165mm overall length), or optionally with a blue steel-on-wrought iron or HSS-on-soft steel blade (210mm overall length).

Available in either right hand or left hand configuration, shown respectively* in the photograph.
