That hurt…
I just updated this here wordpress software from 2.9.2 to 3.0.1, but due to a slight slip of a digit, deleted a bunch of really REALLY important files.
And I had no easy way to recover them… 
I ended up having to vacuum the old files from the old server, fiddle and tweak, then upload them again. Sound easy, but when the most important bit of software for uploading/downloading doesn’t work like it should (ftp client), then it’s a nightmare.
I was looking at manually downloading, then uploading over 700 pictures.
Fortunately, I got it all working, transferred everything across and it’s all working fine again.
Lucky, but I could have lived without all the trouble.
There is some more news, but I will hold off until I’m ready.
Nothing really interesting here, unless you like to laugh at my troubles…
