Gyokucho/Razorsaw Ryoba.

One of, if not the most popular brand of ryoba style saw in Japan and possibly the world, Gyokucho saws have a reputation for reliability and good performance at a modest price.

These saws represent the one of the very best purely machine made, replaceable blade saws available. While there are many machine made ryoba saws available in Japan, we list only Gyokucho because, for the price, they are exceptionally good performers.

Available in 2 distinctly different styles, the 'Blue Cloud' is a traditionally sized ryoba saw where the 'Blue Hard' uses a reduced width saw plate and shorter handle to offer a saw that is better balanced and easier to use in most situations.

Both saw styles share induction hardened teeth, electroless nickel plated blades for abrasion and corrosion resistance and a unique blade to handle interface that resists degradation over time yet remains easy and safe to use.

As a first Japanese saw, very highly recommended. Even as a second, third or tenth Japanese saw, these saws are a great choice.
