The original series of stones in this 'super premium' line up, these are deep into the 'superfine' finishing stone category.

With stated grit ratings of #10000, #15000 and #20000, they do not carry the 'finest' grit ratings available, but as these stones follow the calculated JIS 6001-1998 standard for abrasive particle size, but use a much tighter tolerance, the stated grit ratings carry a particle size smaller than they might otherwise be compared to other maker's standards.

Exceptionally hard and long wearing, these 20mm thick stones should comfortably out last any other stone they can be compared to, all while offering an at least equivalent or superior edge to similar stones.

Not for every sharpener, but if you are fortunate enough to own one of these stones they cannot be left idle as once the edge they produce is sampled, you must go back again and again as nothing else compares.

Supplied with a large, integral rubber base to provide a stable, slip resistant platform and supplied with a #1000/3000 conditioning stone.
